Jane Dixon-Smith will discuss the importance of cover design, why quality formatting is essential, what formatting issues are involved for print and ebooks, the difference between copyediting/proofreading and formatting, and supplementary design considerations.
JJ Marsh will explain print possibilities (such as Lightning Source, CreateSpace, Lulu, etc.), the advantages of publishing via a collective, the rich sources of information for indies, and the necessity of having a finished product.
