How it started Nuance Words was founded in 2010 by Liz Henry and Libby O'Loghlin, joined by Jill (JJ) Marsh in 2011. As words-workers, fiction and web content writers, linguists, teachers, branding and story consultants, our vision was to create context and community for other industry professionals, and entrepreneurially-minded words-lovers. We did that (check!), and pretty soon realised that our works (publications, events) were taking on a life of their own. What's changed? Our newsletter for our local writerly networks, Nuance Nous, evolved into The Woolf, which is now a quarterly online publication with readers in not only Zürich, but the whole of Switzerland and Germany, the UK, US, Canada, Australia and South-East Asia. Our events and workshops are now hosted by The Woolf Quarterly in Zürich. Events include WriteCon, which incorporates panel discussions and workshops with guest writing and publishing professionals from Switzerland, the UK and various other European locations. We also hold pop-up events throughout the year. Looking for us? Our consulting continues: You can contact Jill via Beatrice Stubbs. You can contact Libby via The Content Coach.
